This is an imaginary view based on an orchard I passed every time I returned to Exmoor. As I turned off the main road I would pass this large apple orchard. To me this was start point of returning to Exmoor as the road from there rose quickly onto the high moors and brought me to that mixture of forestry plantation, small cottages and open heathland that defined Exmoor in those days.
